Rainbow obsidian looks the same as ordinary obsidian until you hold it to the light when it reveals its beautiful multicoloured iridescence.
Is one of the gentler obsidians but with strong protective properties.  It teaches you about your spiritual nature.  This stone cuts the cords of old love and gently releases hooks that others have left in the heart, replenishing the heart energy.  Worn as a pendant, Rainbow Obsidian absorbs negative energy from the aura and draws off stress from the body.
Offers a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel and is beneficial for those suffering from deep despair, depression or paralysing fears.  Acts as a reminder after betrayal that you can start over and should let bitterness go.
